VASCO:
An unidentified male in his forties was found dead outside the Vasco railway station on Friday evening.
Vasco Railway Police alerted the Vasco Police, who visited the spot and found the man unresponsive.
A 108 ambulance was summoned to the site and paramedic personnel declared him dead on the spot.
An inquest panchnama were conducted and the body was sent to the South Goa District Hospital in Margao for preservation and medico-legal formalities.
Preliminary investigations revealed no signs of foul play, and the case has been registered as an unnatural death under Section 194 of the BNS Act.
Efforts are underway to identify the deceased. Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Prisly Carvalho of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
