CANACONA:
Canacona police booked a motorcycle rider on charges of outraging the modesty of a woman by passing abusive and sexually coloured remarks against a woman in Canacona.
According to Canacona police, the woman lodged a complaint that the rider of a motorcycle had used abusive language against her thereby outraging her modesty and also passed sexually coloured remarks against her, besides threatening her with dire consequences.
After registering the complaint on Tuesday, police booked the unnamed accused under Sections 75 (3), 79, 351 (2) of BNS 2023 and the accused was further served a notice under Section 35/3 BNSS.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Vishal Velip of Canacona police station.
