Aadya Pankaj Naik Gaunkar (7) of Canacona won the first prize at the National Level Abacus Competition-2025, organised by Kids Concepts at Mariyam Nilaya High School in Banaswadi, Bangalore.

Demonstrating exceptional mathematical and mental calculation skills, Aadya competed against some of the brightest young participants from across the country. The competition was tough and she had to complete 100 sums mentally within just 6 minutes. Aadya was guided by teacher Deepali Loienkar at Brilliance Academy, Chaudi-Canacona.

Her performance in the competition reflects her dedication, hard work, and passion for mental arithmetic.

The event, hosted by Kids Concepts, is one of India’s most prestigious abacus competitions, providing a platform for young learners to showcase their numerical proficiency and cognitive abilities.

The National-level Abacus Competition is an offline competition for students aged 5–13 years to showcase their mental math and abacus skills. The event is open to students from various age groups.
