OLD GOA
A car went off the ramp at the Old Goa ferry point and came to rest on the banks of the Mandovi River, along the Old Goa–Divar ferry route, on Sunday evening. According to available information, the driver was reversing the car off the ferry when he misjudged and veered off the ramp.
The two occupants of the car escaped unhurt, and luckily it was low tide at the time of the incident, allowing the car to rest on the riverbank. Later, the car was removed with the help of a crane, and Old Goa fire personnel assisted in the operation.
