Amid fluctuating weather patterns, chilly and foggy mornings and evenings in Goa have returned, while daytime temperatures remain pleasant with mild heat.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) (Goa), Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 33.4°C and a minimum of 20.3°C – a slight increase from Thursday, which saw a high of 32.7°C and a low of 21.7°C.
Humidity levels also dropped. Maximum humidity decreased from 97 per cent on Thursday to 64 per cent on Friday, while minimum humidity fell from 45 per cent to 35 per cent during the same period.
Interiors such as Pernem, Sattari, Bicholim, and Canacona experienced cooler conditions, with maximum temperatures in some areas dipping below 30°C and minimums below 20°C. Pernem, for instance, recorded a pleasant 26°C.
The IMD has forecast dry weather across Goa for the next five days. Shallow to moderate fog or haze is expected in the mornings and evenings, contributing to the pleasant winter vibe.
