Scoffing at rumours, Fr Henry Falcao informed that this is not going to be the last Exposition and the tradition of continuing with the Exposition after every ten years will continue.

“After every Exposition, such rumours surface but people should not believe the same as these are not official,” Fr Falcao added.

“It is a tradition that every ten years we have an Exposition and the Archbishop Felipe Neri Ferrao is very clear on that and we will follow the tradition,” Fr Falcao said while urging the public not to believe in rumours until and unless it comes officially from the Church.

Meanwhile, speaking on the closing of the Exposition on January 5, Fr Falcao informed that the prayers will be held in the See Cathedral at 9 am by the chosen few.

“The Relics will then be taken in a procession at around 9.30 am and should reach the Basilica by 10.30 am after which the mass will be celebrated,” Fr Falcao stated.

The priest further said that only those who are chosen will be allowed to participate in the procession.

“We have also decided to give representation to those who have rendered their services during the Exposition like the volunteers, police, security personnel, people from cleaning agencies, medical personnel and others,” he added.
