Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has remained tight-lipped regarding the details of his recent trip to Delhi, only stating that it was "just a party meeting." Sawant, along with Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, was summoned to the capital for a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda.
Both leaders were seen rushing to the airport shortly after a cabinet meeting in Goa. In Delhi, Shah and Nadda reportedly held separate one-on-one discussions with both Sawant and Rane. Sources suggest that Rane was advised to align closely with the party’s directives moving forward, particularly regarding major decisions.
This visit comes shortly after Rane’s public call for the government to create 22,000 jobs for Goan youth within the next two years.
