PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant called on students to explore career opportunities in cybersecurity and digital law, emphasising the immense potential these fields hold for innovation and growth.
Addressing the inaugural function of a workshop on Cyber Security and Cyber Law at the Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sankhali, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of equipping students and professionals with knowledge about cyber hygiene, secure digital practices, and evolving legal frameworks to tackle cybercrime.
Sawant expressed confidence in the workshop's ability to inspire participants and boost Goa’s efforts toward becoming a model state in cybersecurity and digital resilience.
The workshop, organised to mark Constitution Day, was a collaboration between the college’s Department of Political Science, the Directorate of Higher Education, Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance & Public Policy, and the UGC Center for the Study of Social Inclusion.
