Sarpanch Basil Fernandes informed that the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims was observed by the Road Safety and Traffic Management of the Village Panchayat of Camurlim on Sunday.

He said members took a pledge that they will not over speed or give into road rage or rash driving; will not put others’ lives at risk, and will ensure the usage of seatbelt or helmet for all passengers.

In his brief address, the sarpanch made a fervent plea to the villagers to observe the basic traffic rules, including wearing helmets and to fasten seat belts while driving on the road.
