The Crime Branch sleuths on Saturday arrested a 21-year-old local for alleged possession of synthetic drugs.
During the narcotics raid conducted below the flyover near Binani Company in Colvale, CB stated, the accused identified as Stephen Paul, from Chicalim, was caught red handed in possession of 6.733 grams of MDMA and 5.475 grams of Amphetamine/Meth, both concealed in his shorts.
He was soon arrested under section 22(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985. The value of seized banned articles besides the motorbike, is valued at Rs 3 lakh.
