PANAJI: Continuing their crackdown on illegal escort websites, the Crime Branch of Goa Police has arrested 32 year old Odisha native.
Crime branch has arrested Subhas Pradhan, currently residing in Candolim in the case.
Pradhan, an ex-hotel employee, is accused of acting as an agent involved in prostitution activities. He was arrested for his alleged role in running and promoting escort services through illicit websites.
This is a fourth arrest in this case.
A week before, the Crime Branch had arrested a person from Uttar Pradesh, who was allegedly running an escort website featuring explicit content, including sexually suggestive pictures and videos. Ten days earlier, two more individuals were arrested: one from Andhra Pradesh and another from Haryana.
