Cycling Goa, Panaji will be organising ‘Tour of Goa’, their annual signature cycling event on January 29.
The ‘Tour of Goa’ is a unique combination of a leisure ride and competitive section. This year's second edition of the tour starts from Verna, South Goa and takes riders via Arlem, Margao to the base of beautiful Shri Chandreshwar Bhutnath Temple at Paroda (Approximate distance 22 kms). The competitive section of the tour starts at the base of the hill and takes riders up to the hilltop temple (4.7kms). However, the competitive section is not mandatory for all the riders.
This tour gives an unique opportunity to riders to explore the beauty and heritage of Goa on a bicycle while testing their cycling skills. Registrations for the event are open on the Facebook page of Cycling Goa (www.facebook.com/cyclinggoa).
