Dattaraj Salgaocar, Chairman & Managing Director of VM Salgaocar Corporation recently hosted Dr. Carlos Monjardino, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fundacao Oriente, Dr. Joao Amorim, Director and senior delegates of Fundacao Oriente. Dr. Monjardino with the delegates are in Goa to attend official functions to commemorate 30 years of Fundacao Oriente in Goa. Mr. Salgaocar extended his warm congratulations to Dr. Monjardino on the milestone occasion of the 30th anniversary of Fundacao Oriente. He expressed his appreciation for the foundation’s longstanding contributions to Goa and Portugal cultural relations in the past three decades; and also its association with Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts. He wished them continued success in the years ahead.
Dr. Monjardino was accompanied by a distinguished delegation from Fundacao Oriente including its Goa Director Dr. Paulo Gomes. Also present was Dr. Isabel Raimundo, Consul General of Portugal in Goa.
