VASCO: A 15-year-old girl, allegedly kidnapped from Delhi, was rescued by Vasco Railway Police this morning.
According to a press statement. Issued by the railway police, the case was reported on Sunday when PSI Yaspal Yadav from South Campus Police Station in Delhi informed the Vasco Railway Police about the offense. According to PSI Yadav, the girl’s mobile phone location was traced at Vasco Railway Station.
Based on the information, PSI Talpi and the Vasco Railway Police began searching the station area. During their patrol, they found the missing girl with a 25-year-old man. Both were detained by the police, and the girl was thereafter sent to Apna Ghar, Merces.
The accused was handed over to the South Campus Police Station team on Monday. The Delhi Police is now in the process of taking custody of the rescued girl for further investigation.
