The North Goa District Magistrate has announced a temporary ban on entry to the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Catedral for tourists and the general public from November 18 to 20.
The decision has been made to facilitate preparations for the upcoming exposition of the Sacred Relics of St. Francis Xavier, scheduled to begin on November 21. These preparations are deemed urgent and necessary to ensure smooth arrangements for the event.
The restriction will remain in effect until November 20, unless revised or withdrawn earlier, as per the magistrate’s order.
