The Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) has invited applications from the filmmakers to avail financial support under the Film Finance Scheme. The films made during the period of January 2018 to December 2023 will be eligible to receive financial support under the ‘The Goa Scheme of Financial Assistance for Films’ scheme, stated sources from the Directorate of Information and Publicity.
The applications to avail financial assistance under the film finance scheme 2016 will be made available online on the ESG website (www.esg.co.in) from December 9-18 2024 and these applications have to be submitted during the working hours in the ESG office in Panaji during January 1-18, 2025.
Meanwhile, ESG will be organising the 10th, 11th and 12th edition of Goa State Film Festival in March 2025. It will be held twice a year, and will include feature and non-feature films produced in Goa.
The 10th edition will have films produced during January 1 2018 to December 2019. The 11th edition will have films produced during January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. The 12th edition will have films produced during January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023.
