Panaji: Search operations to locate the missing Gujarati businessman Bashudev Bhandari yielded no results. The Indian Coast Guard, Fire personnel and police resumed the search for Bhandari, who has been missing since August 31 when the rental car plunged into St Estevam River.
The youth's family have raised strong doubts on the search operation claiming they have been repeatedly telling the police that 'he is not in water.'
Bhandari's family, who have been in Goa for a month, continue to seek answers about his mysterious disappearance. His father, Narayan Bhandari, who also joined the search efforts today, expressed doubts about the ongoing investigation, stating, "From day one, we’ve informed the police that Bashudev is not in the water. Our missing person's report clearly suggests another angle that should be investigated."
The family has raised concerns regarding a woman, identified as Bhandari's girlfriend, who was reportedly with him at the time of the incident. They question whether she was driving the rental car under the influence of alcohol when it plunged into the river. Despite intensified efforts, Bhandari's whereabouts remain unknown.
