There will be a First Saturday Devotion at Our Lady of Candelaria Chapel in Pilerne on July 6 from 9 am to 1 pm.
There will be a Rosary, a talk on Pope’s intention for the Month and the Role of Mother Mary with regards to the sick. The talk will be given by Fr Clive Diniz, prefect at Saligao-Pilerne seminary. The Pope’s intention for the month of July is to pray for the pastoral care of the sick.
“The Chapel of Our Lady of Candeleria Chapel is honoured by people from all walks of Life. A lot of devotees throng to the Chapel during the Novena as the place has a miraculous history. There will be snacks and meal available on the spot,” said Pilerne Parish Priest Fr Derick Fernandes.
