Former MLA of Panaji Baban Naik passed away on Monday after suffering a heart attack. He was 76.
Contesting for Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, Naik had won the election to Panaji constituency in 1972 and went to serve one term. He also served the capital city as the chairperson of then Panaji Municipal Council.
