Goa Human Resource Development Corporation (GHRDC) Managing Director Narayan Navti on Wednesday said the GHRDC has provided employment opportunities at different levels to educated youth in the State.
“The corporation has created a sense of professionalism in the minds of people on the basis of the three values of punctuality, honesty and discipline,” said Navati, during the ceremonial passing out Parade of XIth course of 65 Security Force Cadets of GHRDC at Forest Training School (FTS) in Valpoi.
Others present at the event included FTS Principal Vishwanath Pingulkar, General Manager John Aguiar and Valpoi Community Health Centre Health Officer Dr Shyam Kankonkar.
Narayan Navti reviewed the work of the security personnel and congratulated the Security Force Cadets for successfully completing their one-month training.
He advised the cadets to keep three things, punctuality, discipline and respect towards superiors, in mind while working as Security Force Cadets. Navti thanked the government for enhancing the image of the GHRDC and said efforts would be made to make the image of the corporation more pro-people in the years to come.
Aguiar and Dr Kankonkar also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, 65 male cadets participated in the parade which was reviewed by Navti.
Three security guards who were honoured for excelling during the one-month training period were Devesh Adkonkar, Dhillon Velip and Krishna Velip.
