Goa Sudharop an NGO working in hinterland Goa to serve the needs of rural community of the state organised a Kidney Disease and General Health Medical Camp in association with Siddehswar Sports Club in the village of Barcem, Canacona Goa.
The camp is part of the Goa Sudharop KidneyFine Project and aims at screening citizens of the state especially in rural parts for Kidney Ailments, Dr Devdutt Sail Coordinator for the project in a statement issued to the press stated that Point of Care Testing Devices for Urine and Blood test are used to screen individuals.
Dr. Rounak Naik and Dr Surysmit Suryakant Parwar provided consultation services at the camp.
The camp was inaugurated in the presence of Kushali Naik, Zilla Parishad member, Govind Velip, Headmaster, Shanu Goankar, Sarpanch Barcem, Ulhas Velip, Assistant Director, Dept of Civil Supplies, Verma De melo, Member GS, Harriet Ferens, Chairman Goa Sudharop.
Free kidney disease testing and medicines was provided and total of 105 beneficiaries were screened at the camp organised on 27th October.
