“I was present at the Vibrant Gujarat event where I got a great opportunity to meet people and invite them for our “Invest Goa 2024”, an investment summit programme scheduled to be held on January 29,” said Godinho.
“New industries will help generate economic activity in Goa and also generate employment for local Goan youth. I am sure that our “Invest Goa 2024” will be huge success.”
Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar said the work to hotmix internal roads and main road at New Vaddem was taken up at a cost of Rs 2 crore.
“This is a long pending demand which has happened after around 12 years. We have also constructed gutters on the sides of the main road and also constructed a cross drain on the road below the hill for smooth flow of rainwater,” said Salkar.
“We have also planned to widen a lot of roads in Vasco and clear the bottlenecks, especially near the Church area, Belabai, Mestawada, etc. so that people can move with ease on this roads. We had earlier taken a drive to clear scrap vehicles on the roads in Vasco and we will also take a drive in the New Vaddem area and scrap vehicles will be taken away to Sada Plant so that new roads pose no hindrance to traffic,” said Salkar.
