The Traffic Department has announced a detailed traffic plan for the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024, which will take place from 20 to 28 November.

Special parking arrangements have been made for the opening and closing ceremonies at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (SPM) Stadium.

The designated parking areas include Zone A1, inside the stadium, and Zone A2, an open space near the stadium close to the overhead water tank.

Invitees can park at the open space adjacent to the SPM Stadium, the Goa University Cricket Ground, and the AIR compound.

To ensure smooth traffic flow, motorists from North and South Goa (excluding Panaji) are advised to use NH 66, proceed to GMC Bambolim, and take the Goa University road to reach the venue.

Those travelling from Panaji should use the Taleigao or Dona Paula routes.

The INOX lane (General Bernard Guedes Road), which connects DB Marg to the Panaji market via the INOX complex, will remain closed near the CCP market complex throughout the nine-day festival. Car passes issued by the ESG will specify parking zones for vehicles.

On the inaugural day, vehicles with VIP passes can park in the INOX parking lot, while invitees’ vehicles will be parked in lanes near the Directorate of Health Services.

For the rest of the festival, vehicles with car passes can park at the Kala Academy parking lot, the INOX parking lot, and the service lane near the INOX theatre.

Vehicles without car passes will be directed to park at the SAG Ground and Football Ground. No vehicles will be allowed to park on DB Marg at any time during the festival.
