A team of the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has visited the Cutbona fishing jetty complex to find out whether the toilets at the jetty are equipped with proper disposal facility.

The Pollution Control Board’s presence at the jetty comes after Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira instructed senior board official Sanjeev Joglekar to inspect the jetty on Thursday evening.

Sanjeev Joglekar was told by the Minister to find out whether the toilets at the jetty have the sewage treatment plants to treat the sewage before the same is released in the river.
