Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant were among the leaders who venerated the Sacred Relics of St Francis Xavier on Thursday.
Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho venerated the Sacred Relics of St Francis Xavier in the Sacristy of the Basilica of Bom Jesus at Old Goa this morning, ahead of the solemn inaugural ceremony of the 18th Exposition.
Other leaders who attended the inaugural ceremony included Deputy Speaker Joshua D’Souza, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa, Aldona MLA Carlos Ferreira, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao, former chief minister Churchill Alemao and others.
