The Amazing Goa Global Business Summit 2024 continued with sessions focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and global market opportunities.
Organised by Vibrant Goa Foundation in partnership with Goa government, the event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and global experts. With a focus on knowledge sharing and networking, the summit provided a platform for engaging discussions, the exchange of transformative ideas, and 305 B2B meetings.
These helped connect Goan industries with over 100 international delegates, encouraging collaboration and global partnerships. A world record was set with the creation of the longest Kunbi saree, measuring 102 metres.
The session on Import-Export Opportunities offered valuable insights for businesses aiming to expand globally. Learning Lounge 1 hosted several country-specific sessions, guiding businesses on how to succeed in different global markets. The sessions began with a focus on ‘Doing Business in North America’, Europe, and the UK, discussing how to navigate the post-Brexit landscape. They also covered the rapidly growing and diversifying Middle East Asia region.
Learning Lounge 2 held a crucial session for MSMEs on ‘Finance and Getting Listed on the NSE’, along with talks blending innovation and sustainability. The day began with a discussion on ‘Building Ecosystems Where Women in Tech Lead, Innovate, and Shape the Future’.
The next session, ‘Investment Strategies for a Volatile Global Economy’, explored how to manage the challenges of economic instability. In the afternoon, the summit featured a thought-provoking session on ‘The Future of Agriculture and Food Processing in a Climate-Conscious World’.
The session on ‘Decentralising Renewable Energy’ examined how community-driven energy solutions can transform local economies. The day concluded with a session on CSIR Technologies and Sustainability, showcasing how research-driven advancements are positively impacting sectors.
