In a significant development for engineering students from Belagavi and the Goa region, the KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) has announced the establishment of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Design and Innovation (CIDI) in collaboration with Dassault Systèmes, a global conglomerate based in France.
This multidisciplinary Centre of Excellence will be inauguratedtoday by C Pradosh Mohanty, Plant Head of Tata Motors in Dharwad, and Rajiv Aramadaka, Sales Director (Public Services) at Dassault Systèmes India Private Limited. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Governing Council Chairman of KLS GIT, made this announcement at a press briefing on Friday.
Giving details about the Centre, Principal Dr MS Patil said that it offers numerous benefits that include access to cutting-edge technology, learning from experts, industry collaboration and practical application of knowledge.
