Margao recorded yet another minor landslide, this time in the heart of the commercial capital near Alto Monte.
While the landslide triggered debris in the area, locals pointed out that the incident has exposed the buildings located in the vicinity.
Margao fire brigade rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. A fireman admitted that the landslide, though minor, can cause more damage if the mud continues to slide down.
The fire brigade was expected to return to the site later in the evening as part of the debris had fallen on a wall.
Tuesday had witnessed a landslide along the road leading to the Monte Hill Chapel, with the debris burying a couple of two-wheelers, leaving them damaged.
