SANGUEM
The residents of Temchowaddo and Sadiabag in Sanguem have demanded that the government construct a new parallel bridge in their village as the current footbridge is not adequate for their transportation needs.
The existing footbridge was built many years ago and no longer supports the growing size of four-wheelers, affecting the daily life of villagers.
The villagers have also complained that whenever there is a social and private function, especially at the Lord Paikdev temple, in the village, the visitors have to park their vehicles on the opposite side and walk to the venues. Such an endeavour is often tiresome to elder visitors.
The villagers are also facing a problem while transporting construction materials to the village. Currently, a mud road by the side of the irrigation canal is being used to transport the construction material in the village.
