KLES Chairperson and former MP Dr Prabhakar Kore has said malls like BSC Textiles have enhanced the image of Belagavi and attracted customers from Karnataka and neighbouring states.
He was addressing the first anniversary of BSC textiles, the biggest textile mall in Belagavi, on Monday.
“Since 1938, B S Channabasappa and Sons have established their own customers base not only in Karnataka but in the neighbouring states of Goa and Maharashtra. By their quality, service and competitive rates, they have established a niche for themselves. I thank the group which took initiative to establish a biggest showroom facilitating customers from the region,” said Dr Kore, congratulating Bankapur family on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of the Showroom B C Shivakumar said it has taken about 85 years for the Bankapur family to become a popular shopping destination.
“The mall could be established in Belagavi due to the cooperation extended by Dr Prabhakar Kore,” said Shivakumar.
He also thanked the customers from Belagavi and Goa region for their faith and support shown in the textile mall in the last one year.
Director BUC Chandrashekhar said by establishing the showroom, the group not only has facilitated easy and convenient shopping for the customers, but has also supported several families in Belagavi creating employment to over 500 people. He also thanked people of Goa for the faith they have shown by visiting the mall in large number.
“I thank Goans for their overwhelming support to BSC textiles and assure them of better rates, services in the days to come. We will be also introducing upto 20 percent discount for the customers July onwards,” said Chandrashekhar, appealing Goans to take benefit of the special discount offer. Directors B S Mrunal and B C Ved also spoke.
