CANACONA:
A man in his mid-forties was found dead by the roadside at Palolem beach.
Canacona police said they received a call from the 108 Emergency Services staff informing that a man was lying by the roadside near Babas Little Itali Bar and Restaurant at Palolem.
The person was then shifted to the Canacona Community Health Centre, where a doctor on duty declared him dead on arrival.
Police made enquiries with locals who were unable to identify the man, who was in his mid-forties, about 5.6 feet in height, fair in complexion and medium in build.
Police registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 BNSS and sent the body to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao for identification and medico legal formalities. Canacona PSI Ajit Velip is conducting further investigation.
