VASCO
A man, believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, was found unresponsive near the old bus stand at Vasco Market on Saturday evening. The Vasco Police Control Room (PCR) received a call about the incident, leading to an immediate investigation.
When authorities arrived, they found the man lifeless. His identity remains unknown.
He was taken to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Chicalim by a 108 ambulance, but the medical officer declared him dead on arrival.
The police conducted an inquest, and the body has been moved to SGDH Margao for identification and further investigation.
Initial findings suggest no signs of foul play.
A case of unnatural death has been registered under Section 194 of the BNS. PSI Plato Carvalho from Vasco Police Station is leading the investigation. Authorities have asked the public to help identify the deceased.
