MARGAO
The Margao police, led by PSI Swadesh Dessai, lodged a complaint on behalf of the State, stating that the accused, Shahid Bepari, was caught red-handed between 14:15 hrs and 16:00 hrs on November 5, near Naaz Hotel, Khareband, Margao, Goa, in illegal possession of 255 grams of greenish-coloured fruiting and flowering tops of plants suspected to be ganja. The value of the ganja is pegged at Rs 25,500. Further investigation is underway with PSI Swadesh Dessai.
