Muslims under the banner of Goa Muslim Forum have urged the government and concerned authorities to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of civilians, bring the perpetrators of the horrific Pahalgam attack to justice.
A delegation of the Forum led by convenor Shaikh Iftikar submitted a memorandum to the South Goa district Collector Egna Cleetus after holding a protest outside the Collectorate building.
Iftikar said, “This inhuman and cowardly attack on civilians is an affront to the values of humanity, peace, and justice. We stand in solidarity with the families of the victims and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. Such acts have no place in a civilised society and must be universally denounced, irrespective of region, religion, or ideology.”
