New bi-weekly train begins between Secunderabad, Vasco

In a major boost to tourism and connectivity between the states of Telangana and Goa, a new bi-weekly express service between Secunderabad and Vasco stations began from Wednesday.  

With effect from Wednesday, Train 17039 Secunderabad-Vasco Bi-Weekly Express will leave Secunderabad every Wednesday and Friday at 10.05 am and reach Vasco at 5.45 am the following day.  

En route, the train will reach Hubballi (10.50/11.00 pm), Dharwad (11.23/11.25 pm), Londa (12.50/12.52 am), Castle Rock (1.30/1.40 am), Kulem (3.20/3.25 am), Sanvordem (3.44/3.45 am) and Madgaon (4.15/4.20 am).  

With effect from Thursday, Train 17040 Vasco- Secunderabad Bi-Weekly Express will leave Vasco every Thursday and Saturday at 9 am and reach Secunderabad at 6.20 am the following day.  

En route, the train will arrive and depart at Madgaon (9.30/9.35 am), Sanvordem (9.49/9.50 am), Kulem (10.15/10.20 am), Castle Rock (11.30/11.35 am), Londa (12.10/12.12 pm) and further to Secunderabad via Hubballi.  

The train will comprise 21 modern LHB coaches, including First AC Class-1, AC 2-tier-2, AC 3-tier-3, AC 3-tier economy-2, Sleeper Class-7, General Second Class-4 and 2-Brake van cum generator cars.  

This new train service offers seamless connectivity for both tourists and local passengers, providing a convenient link between the two places.
