Anjuna Police have arrested a Nigerian national, identified as Daniels Chidera Sarah (21), on charges of illegally staying in Goa without valid travel documents. The arrest was made on Wednesday noon at Vaddy, Siolim.
Anjuna Police Station has registered a case under Section 7(1) and 7(3)(iii) of the Foreigners Order, 1948, and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946.
Sarah, who is a resident of Siolim but originally from Nigeria, was found without the required travel documents during the police inspection. Further investigations are underway.
