No retirement plans as yet: Pratapsingh Rane

Stating that he is deeply involved in politics and has been elected by the voters for a term of five years, he has no plans as yet to retire from politics, veteran Congress leader and Poriem MLA Pratapsingh Rane said on Wednesday. He was addressing a press conference held by Bhumika Higher Secondary School Poriem. He further stated that he cannot comment on Valpoi bypoll as he is not contesting the same.

Rane added that he had given a thought to retirement before the assembly elections, but will be completing the current term to fulfill the expectations of the people. The Congress leader also voiced willingness to run ailing government school through the management of Bhumika Higher Secondary School
