If thermocol waste had found its way on to the banks of river Sal and inside the river last week, thermocol waste was found strewn in the low lying fields of neighbouring Seraulim during the recent flooding of the fields.
In fact, thermocol waste found floating in the flood waters in the low lying fields of Seraulim, indicating that thermocol waste used by the fish vendors have found its way into the water.
Locals have expressed concern that the waste may find its way into the agricultural fields if there is no proper collection and disposal of the thermocol used by the fish vendors.
