CANACONA
A parent has filed a written complaint with the Divisional Education Officer (DEO) in Canacona, alleging that a teacher at a private school in the taluka has been harassing her son. A copy of the complaint has also been submitted to Canacona police.
Speaking to reporters, the parent said the teacher had beaten her son four months ago, but they chose to remain silent at the time. However, she claimed that the teacher has since continued to punish her son in different ways in the classroom. She further alleged that the teacher has a habit of harassing her child. In the complaint, the parent has demanded action against the teacher.
