A passenger travelling on an Air India flight from Delhi to Goa was arrested on charges of sexually harassing a fellow passenger.

The accused, identified as 23-year-old Jitender Jaglan Naultha from Haryana, was taken into custody upon landing at Dabolim airport.

According to the complaint, the victim stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday between 11 am and 1.20 pm while the aircraft was airborne.

The victim, who was seated by the window, claimed that the accused, seated beside her, engaged in an obscene act and allegedly began masturbation under a blanket, intentionally leaving it partially uncovered to draw her attention.

Shocked and appalled by the behaviour, the victim reported the matter to the cabin crew, leading to the arrest of the accused under Sections 75(1)(i) and 79 of the BNS 2023 upon arrival at Goa. The investigation is currently being led by PSI Prathamesh S. Palkar of Dabolim Airport Police Station.
