The Konkan railway police team
MARGAO:
The Konkan Railway Police has seized ganja weighing 8.493 kilograms worth Rs. 8.493 lakhs.
The seizure was conducted on platform one of the Margao Railway Station from the possession of the accused persons, namely Sanjoy Angad Pramanik age 24 years, native of WestBengal and Sudesh Amar Kishor Dohare age 24 years, a native of Etawah, Uttar Pradesh.
The duo was carrying the consignment to Kerala. The accused were arrested under the leadership of PI Sunil Gudlar, PSI Viplav Vasta, PC Hussain, Ragesh Naik, Satyavan Gaonkar, Kuldeep Gaonkar, Yogesh Pujari, HC Rajesh Naik, LPC Swizel Fernandes and Homegaurd Gokuldas Gaonkar under the supervision of Dysp G Kadam and overall supervision by SP Gurudas Gawade.
