Incessant rains that hit Goa since Sunday night have prompted the weather bureau to raise the warning from orange to red for Monday.
The Indian Meteorology Department has warned of the possibility of "flood-like situations", particularly in Bicholim and Pernem. Elsewhere in Paroda, reports have come in that a couple, whose car was stuck in a flood, was rescued.
