Mandrem police arrested Aman Afridy, 24, a waiter from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, for allegedly possessing 2.063 kg of ganja worth around Rs 2 lakh during a narcotic raid at Mandrem Garden, Junaswada, Pernem, on Tuesday.
The raid, conducted between 1:45 am and 4 am by PSI Pratik Garudi’s team, followed specific information.
Afridy was found with a mobile phone and Rs 210. He was arrested at 5:21 am after following Supreme Court guidelines.
A case under the NDPS Act, 1985, has been registered. PSI Paresh Kale is investigating.
