The Goa police has said the skull and two bones recovered from a property at Ambaji-Fatorda in a highly decomposed state on Saturday has been shifted to the South Goa district hospital morgue for preservation and identification and to conduct further medico legal formalities.
The Police have recovered the skull and two bones after a resident of Old Market Circle, Fatorda, Russel D’Souza informed the police that while he was doing cleaning work in the property which was unused opposite the Government Primary School Ambaji-Fatorda, found one skull and two bones in a fully decomposed state.
The police said the skull and two bones are suspected to be of an unknown human being.
As part of the inquiry, the Fatorda police secured the presence of forensic scientific team and dog squad team and conducted scene of UD occurrence panchanama before shifting the skull and bones of unknown human being shifted to South District Hospital Morgue for preservation and identification and to conduct further medico legal formalities.
Further enquiry is conducted by PSI, Atikesh Khedekar of Fatorda police station.
