A 41-year-old rider from Pune but residing at Anjuna on Tuesday night succumbed to injuries he had sustained in a road mishap at Verem on Monday.
According to reports, John D'Souza was proceeding on a two-wheeler from Verem to Reis Magos fort, when his two-wheeler struck a cycle on Monday.
He sustained severe injuries and was shifted to the GMC hospital at Bambolim, where he passed away on Tuesday evening while undergoing treatment.
Porvorim PSI Sachin Shirodkar and ASI Sanjeev Salunke conducted the panchanama and are investigating the case.
