As part of the ongoing 13th State Road Safety Week 2024, the Dabolim Airport Traffic Cell led by PI Rahul Damshekar organised a road safety awareness programme for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) staff stationed at Goa Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 100 CISF personnel participated in the session, where key road safety rules, safe driving practices, and the importance of adhering to traffic regulations were emphasised. The initiative aims to foster a safer traffic environment, particularly around high-security zones like the airport.
PI Damshekar and his team provided valuable insights on defensive driving, the dangers of speeding, and the significance of wearing seat belts and helmets.
The session was interactive, with participants encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences on road safety.
The awareness programme is part of a broader campaign by authorities in the State to promote road safety and reduce accidents across the State during the Road Safety Week.
