CANACONA:
Canacona police have arrested a Russian national on charges of staying in Goa without a valid passport and Visa.
The accused, Andrei Tsaune, was taken into custody for staying in the country without possessing a valid passport and Visa.
Tsaune has been charged under Section 7 (1), 7(3) (iii) of Foreigner Order 1948 punishable U/s 14 of Foreigners Act 1946 and is presently remanded to 5 days in judicial custody.
Canacona PSI Rajasekhar Reddy is conducting further investigation.
