The State Bank of India (SBI) Maharashtra Circle has reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare by supporting Lokvishwas Pratishthan, a Goa-based non-profit organisation dedicated to the rehabilitation and skill development of specially-abled individuals.

At a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event hosted in Goa, the bank contributed an ambulance, solar power systems, and occupational therapy equipment to aid the organisation’s mission of empowering people with

disabilities.

Lokvishwas Pratishthan, established in 1981 in Dhavali, Ponda, runs schools, vocational training centres, and daycare facilities for individuals with special needs, helping them lead independent lives.

The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including SBI Chairman CS Shetty, Managing Director Vinay Tonse, and Lokvishwas Pratishthan Chairman Anup Priolkar, along with other office bearers.

This initiative underscores SBI’s commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and its ethos of service to society.

By providing resources that enhance medical assistance, sustainable energy, and skill development, the bank continues to champion the cause of empowering vulnerable communities.
