Shree Gokarna Partagali Mathadheesha Swamiji’s grand Digvijaya Mahotsava held

The 24th Mathadheesha of Shree Samsthan Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Math, one of the revered Guru Peethas of the Gaud Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) community, Parama Poojya Shrimad Vidyadheesh Teertha Shreepad Wader Swamiji, completed the Chaturmasya Vrata of the Krodhi Samvatsara at Shree Dwarakanath Bhavan in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.  

On Wednesday, September 18, Swamiji concluded the Chaturmasya Vrata with the Mruttika Visarjana. In honour of this, special events were held on the 28th and 29th of September 2024 at Dwarakanath Bhavan, Netkalappa Circle, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.  

On the morning of the 28th, Swamiji unveiled the prototype of the 77-foot-tall bronze statue of Lord Shri Ramachandra, which will be installed at the Math’s 550th-year celebrations at Shree Partagali Jeevottam Math in Goa, scheduled from the 27th of November 2025 to the 7th of December 2025.  

On this occasion, in the divine presence of Swamiji, a Bhruhat Shree Rama Nama Japa Abhiyana was held, where more than 3,000 devotees collectively chanted the Rama Nama Taraka mantra, totalling 39,06,575 Japa within two hours. In the evening, Swamiji blessed the entire congregation of devotees with the Ashirvachan.  

On the morning of the 29th, a health check-up and blood donation camp was organised, in which more than 250 people participated. Alongside these religious activities, socially beneficial programmes were also conducted.

In the evening, Swamiji’s Digvijaya Mahotsava was celebrated, starting from Dwarakanath Bhavan and proceeding through National College Signal and Gandhi Bazaar Road before returning to Dwarakanath Bhavan. The event featured 9 captivating roadshows and 9 impressive tableaus that drew immense public attention. Distinguished dignitaries, along with thousands of community members participated in the Digvijaya Mahotsava and received Swamiji’s blessings.
