The Secondary School and Higher Secondary School Certificate examinations, also known as SSCE and HSSCE, will be conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on schedule by adhering to SOPs and wearing masks and ensuring social distancing.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that his government has not considered cancelling or deferring any of the Goa Board exams as of now.
“Goa Board exams are starting from April 24. The exams will be held as per schedule by taking all necessary precautions like last year,” Sawant said.
The GBSHSE has announced that the HSSCE will commence on April 24.
Sawant also said the same logistics and arrangements followed to conduct these Board examinations last year will be put in place this year too.
“Just like last year, only 11 students will be allowed in each examination hall. All SOPs like social distancing, wearing masks among others will be followed,” Sawant added.
The SSC examinations are scheduled to commence from May 13 and end on June 4.
